Junior Recruiter

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This is a junior level growth position. This individual will be responsible for conducting telephone screens, scheduling and hiring candidates in a high-volume environment. They will be required to follow a script, document the answers and determine whether the candidate meets the hiring criteria to move to the next stage. This person will also be required to enter all candidate data into the identified candidate management system, coordinate and schedule mass interviews with the hiring manager, and maintain productivity records. This person will most likely support a hourly or volume recruiting process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain an organized methodology for completing tasks associated with the successful fulfillment of requisitions, such as screening of candidates, scheduling and offer management.
Junior recruiter will be responsible for pre-identifying dates for all interviews with hiring managers.
To reduce candidate no show rates, and improve the experience, confirmation text and emails will be sent to both candidates and managers.
Will have to adhere to requirements associated with total number of phone screens, total number of schedules on a daily basis.
Will be tasked with a goal of 7 hires per week.
Support onsite operations by processing applicants into the clients ATS.
Will follow up with all managers on a daily basis to process candidates that are deemed ready for hire.
Administration of incoming candidates including manual entry of resumes received in formats other than email (eg: fax, mail, job fair) into the ATS
Organizing, schedule and manage interview logistics and coordination for both Candidate and Client
Manage ad placement and ad response management
Other duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven customer service skill
Experience as a recruiter coordinator (a minimum of 1-2yrs)
Experience with scheduling interviews (a minimum of 1-2 yrs)
Using Applicant Tracking System(s) (a minimum of 1yrs)
May have worked in a call center, retail or other fast paced heavy phone environment.
Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication
Detail Oriented
Organized
Ability to work in a high-volume environment

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Minimum High School degree

JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 1-2 years experience as a recruiter or recruiter coordinator

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
